Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay launched the Thaaimaman Thanga Mothiram Thittam at Government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai. Under the scheme, eligible newborns in government healthcare institutions will receive a one-gram, 22-carat gold ring. Vijay also visited the maternity ward and personally presented rings to newborns.
