Watch LIVE as SpaceX launches Starship Flight 14, the most ambitious Starship test yet, from Starbase in Texas. For the first time, SpaceX plans to send Starship into Earth orbit, with the spacecraft expected to fly at an altitude of roughly 275 km and complete around six orbits during a mission lasting nearly 10 hours. Flight 14 will also carry 26 next-generation Starlink V3 satellites, marking the first deployment of operational Starlink V3 spacecraft from Starship. SpaceX says each V3 satellite can add 1 Tbps of capacity to the constellation. SpaceX The mission will test several critical capabilities, including orbital insertion, Starlink deployment, an in-space Raptor engine burn, heat-shield performance, controlled reentry and splashdown. The Super Heavy booster is expected to perform a controlled splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico, while Starship is targeting a Pacific splashdown west of Chile after its journey around Earth.
