Bangkok is facing a major flood emergency after more than 300 millimetres of rain submerged roads across Thailand’s capital. All 50 Bangkok districts have reportedly been declared emergency zones as overflowing canals, rising water levels and further rainfall threaten homes, shops and major roads. Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt has warned that the flooding is not over, with authorities continuing to pump water from affected areas. Residents living near canals have been urged to move belongings upstairs as swollen waterways remain dangerously high. The flooding is also reviving memories of Thailand’s devastating 2011 floods. While no casualties have been reported in Bangkok from the latest emergency, officials warn that additional heavy rain could worsen existing floodwaters and create further disruption #BangkokFloods #BangkokFlood #ThailandFloods #BangkokFloodDisaster #BangkokEmergency #ThailandFlooding #BangkokRain #BangkokWeather #ThailandWeather #BangkokUnderwater #Bangkok
