The head of counter-terror policing at the Metropolitan Police is giving an update on the incident at RAF Fairford over the weekend. Assistant Commissioner Laurence Taylor will give a statement outside New Scotland Yard after five men were arrested under the Explosives Act and on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act. Andy Burnham has said he will chair a Cobra meeting this afternoon on the suspected terror attack. The Prime Minister told LBC at the Labour party conference in Liverpool that he wanted to get the "full picture" on what had happened at the base used by the British and US air forces in Gloucestershire. ----------------- • Subscribe to ITV News In Full on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@ITVNewsInFull • Get breaking news and more stories at: http://www.itv.com/news • Follow ITV News on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@itvnews?lang=en • Follow ITV News on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/itvnews/ • Follow ITV News on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/itvnews/ •
