South Korea has summoned Ukraine’s acting ambassador and demanded an official explanation and apology after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy publicly disclosed the transfer of two North Korean prisoners of war to South Korea. Seoul says Ukraine breached a confidentiality agreement over the sensitive transfer and later falsely denied that such an agreement existed. Kyiv disputes Seoul’s account, escalating an unusual diplomatic dispute between the two countries. The North Korean soldiers were captured while fighting alongside Russian forces in Ukraine’s Kursk region and later expressed a desire to settle in South Korea. #southkorea #ukraine #zelenskyy #northkorea #northkoreanpows #russia #russiaukrainewar #ukrainewar #seoul #kyiv #pow #prisonersofwar #diplomaticcrisis #diplomaticrow #un #unga #geopolitics #worldnews #breakingnews #timesnowworld Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐 Read full coverage: https://www.timesnownews.com/world 📱 Instag
