SpaceX’s Starship has splashed down in the Pacific Ocean after spending around three hours in orbit, bringing an eventful test flight to an early end. The mission was originally planned to last about 10 hours, but SpaceX decided to terminate the flight sooner than expected after engineers faced an earlier engine issue. During the mission, Starship successfully deployed 26 next-generation Starlink V3 satellites, adding to SpaceX’s growing broadband constellation. The flight also raised questions about the risks of sending the vehicle into orbit following the engine problem. SpaceX describes Starship as the world’s most powerful launch vehicle ever developed, with ambitions to eventually transport crew and cargo to Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars and beyond. The early splashdown could provide important data for the company’s next steps in developing the massive spacecraft. #SpaceX #Starship #SpaceXStarship #StarshipLaunch #StarshipSplashdown #StarshipMission #SpaceXLaunch #Starlink
