Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley delivered a forceful address at the 81st United Nations General Assembly, warning that people are losing trust in the UN and calling for stronger action on global conflicts. Mottley argued that the UN Security Council’s veto should not prevent action when populations face genocide, crimes against humanity or large-scale war crimes. She also called for reforms to the Security Council and UN Secretariat. In her speech, Mottley cited a reported 245,000 battle-related deaths in 2025 and warned about the growing number of conflicts around the world. Her remarks focused on UN reform, global peace, accountability and restoring confidence in international institutions. #MiaMottley #Barbados #UNGA #UnitedNations #UN #UNSecurityCouncil #GlobalConflicts #UNReform #VetoPower #WorldNews #InternationalNews #Geopolitics #Peace #BreakingNews ~HT.410~PR.462~ED.532~VG.HM~ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
