Niger Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine delivered a forceful speech at the UN General Assembly, accusing France and Ukraine of supporting armed proxy groups near Niger’s northeastern border. Zeine said the groups were allegedly armed and preparing to attack Niger’s military positions and oil installations. He also described what he called a broader attempt to destabilize the Central Sahel and “recolonize” the region. The accusations were made during Niger’s address to the 81st UN General Assembly. Zeine did not publicly identify the armed groups or provide evidence linking France and Ukraine to the alleged planned attacks. Ukraine has previously rejected similar allegations from Niger. #Niger #France #Ukraine #Sahel #UNGA #UnitedNations #LamineZeine #NigerNews #AfricaNews #Geopolitics #SahelCrisis #FranceUkraine #BreakingNews ~HT.410~PR.462~ED.194~VG.HM~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- News that s
