We spend so much of our lives striving towards an idea of what is considered “ordinary,” often believing that fitting in means being accepted, successful, or better. But who decided what ordinary is in the first place? Perhaps ordinary isn’t about fitting into a mould at all. Maybe it is simply being human — imperfect, authentic, and unapologetically yourself. I’m curious, love playing sports, and enjoy getting creative with arts and crafts. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
