South Korea has summoned Ukraine’s acting ambassador and demanded an explanation and apology after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy publicly disclosed at the United Nations that two North Korean soldiers captured while fighting for Russia had been transferred to South Korea. Seoul says the disclosure violated an agreement to keep the transfer confidential, citing security and diplomatic concerns, while Kyiv disputes that a non-disclosure agreement existed. The dispute comes as North Korea deepens its military cooperation with Russia and Ukraine seeks greater South Korean support, including air-defence assistance. The episode has raised fresh questions over trust and defence cooperation between Kyiv and Seoul. #ukraine #southkorea #northkorea #zelenskyy #russia #putin #ukrainewar #northkoreanpows #pow #seoul #kyiv #zelensky #russiaukrainewar #geopolitics #war #diplomacy #military #asia #europe #timesnowworld Stay connected with Times Now World for real-time global news and analysis: 🌐
