Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe has turned his attention to infant-food compliance, directing manufacturers and sellers to prominently display the mandatory “Mother’s Milk Is Best For Your Baby” declaration on covered products. The move follows statewide surveys that found instances of packaged infant foods failing to meet mandatory labelling requirements. The order also tightens scrutiny of advertising, influencer promotions, free samples, discounts and other marketing practices. Formula milk has not been banned; compliant products can continue to be sold. #TukaramMundhe #MaharashtraFDA #InfantFood #BabyFood #FoodSafety #Breastfeeding #MothersMilk #FSSAI #Maharashtra #NDTVProfit For more videos subscribe to our channel: https://www.youtube.com/@NDTVProfitIndia Visit NDTV Profit for more news: https://www.ndtvprofit.com/ Don't enter the stock market unaware.
