India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar says the world is moving rapidly toward a multipolar order, arguing that countries are increasingly keeping multiple strategic relationships open rather than aligning exclusively with one major power. Speaking at an Asia Society event in New York, Jaishankar said the earlier expectation that India should focus primarily on its relationship with Washington has given way to a more flexible global environment where “everybody is openly dealing with everybody else.” His remarks highlight India’s evolving foreign-policy approach amid growing geopolitical competition, shifting alliances and deeper engagement among major powers. The comments come as countries navigate a rapidly changing international landscape involving the United States, India, China, Russia and other global players. #SJaishankar #Jaishankar #IndiaForeignPolicy #MultipolarWorld #Multipolarity #IndiaUSRelations #USIndiaRelations #GlobalPolitics #Geopolitics #WorldOrder #In
