In this video, Allan Lichtman speaks exclusively to Firstpost on the US midterm elections, Donald Trump’s political agenda and the growing impact of the Iran war on American voters. Lichtman says high prices and economic pain are shaping voter concerns, while opposition to Trump’s handling of the war remains strong. He discusses Democratic prospects, internal party divisions, potential election challenges and what a Republican-controlled Congress could mean for Trump’s final two years. He also examines the war’s implications for US foreign policy, tariffs and support for Ukraine.
