Days after a 17-year-old was gang-raped at Asola Kanj Park in southeast Delhi, women from across Delhi University marched from the Faculty of Arts to the Swami Vivekananda statue under the banner "Hum Aurateen Azaad Hain." Midway through, the skies opened up. The march didn't stop. With powerful placards and slogans, students rejected the idea that safety should come at the cost of freedom. Soaked, undeterred, still chanting: "Thappad ko rokna hai, ladkiyon ko nahi." Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
