Former Met detective Mike Neville brands the police treatment of 92-year-old care-home resident Donald Burgess “disgusting” and “cowardly”. The one-legged pensioner, who had dementia and was holding a butter knife, was Tasered, sprayed and handcuffed. Mike also condemns a reported care-home joke accompanied by a lightning emoji, allegedly shared afterwards by one of the officers. Both officers were acquitted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and later faced disciplinary proceedings. #BritishPolicing #PoliceTaser #MikeNeville Have you got a story?
