Trump’s ‘Monster’ Remark for Pichai Gets a Witty Response From Google CEO US President Donald Trump jokingly called Google CEO Sundar Pichai a ‘monster’ during a White House event, referring to Pichai’s stature and success. Pichai responded with a quip: ‘Hopefully a better tagline than I’m a monster!’ The exchange came as Trump hosted Pichai and other technology executives at the White House, where he announced a voluntary accord on artificial intelligence that includes internal and external reviews of AI systems. Trump said the companies understood the need to ‘self-police’ as they develop increasingly advanced AI technology. The meeting also focused on the industry’s growing investment in AI infrastructure, including data centres across the US, some of which have faced opposition from local communities and politicians from both parties. --- Donald Trump | Sundar Pichai | Google CEO | Trump Pichai | Google | White House Event | AI Accord | Artificial Intelligence | AI Self Regula
