UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham says Brexit has done “more harm than good” and argues Britain needs to rethink its long-term relationship with the European Union. Speaking in Liverpool, Burnham said Britain had been on the “wrong path” for decades, criticising deindustrialisation, deregulation, privatisation, austerity and Brexit. Burnham said Britain cannot secure stronger long-term growth and prosperity without addressing its relationship with what remains its largest market. He said he would use an upcoming summit to outline different options for Britain’s future relationship with its European partners. The comments mark a major political intervention on the UK's post-Brexit direction, with Burnham arguing that Britain needs a different economic and political path for the decades ahead. #UK #AndyBurnham #Brexit #EuropeanUnion #EU #UKPolitics #Britain #UKEU #Europe #BritishPolitics #BrexitDebate #Politics #Economy #Growth #Geopolitics Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling Engl
