Ukrainian reporting and imagery indicate that Russian forces have reportedly begun deploying Iran’s Misagh-2 man-portable surface-to-air missile system against Ukrainian unmanned aircraft in the Rostov region. The infrared-guided weapon can operate in a fire-and-forget mode, allowing operators to leave their firing position after launch. The reported deployment comes amid Russia’s expanding use of mobile anti-drone units, while the reasons behind the acquisition of the Iranian system remain unclear. #Misagh2 #Iran #Russia #Ukraine #RussiaUkraineWar #UkrainianDrones #AirDefence #MissileSystems #IranianWeapons #RussianMilitary #MilitaryTechnology #DroneWarfare #Rostov #DefenceNews #WarNews Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
