Police detained several people after fireworks were launched during an anti-asylum protest outside the town hall in Rhenen, the Netherlands, on Wednesday, as local authorities debated how to implement the country's asylum distribution law. Footage from the scene showed masked demonstrators gathering near the municipal building while officers maintained a heavy security presence and made multiple arrests. The protest coincided with an extraordinary council meeting on plans to accommodate 110 asylum seekers under the Dutch Dispersal Act, amid growing tensions over migrant housing that have also triggered demonstrations and arrests in nearby towns. #netherlands #rhenen #dutchpolice #asylumseekers #migrationcrisis #europe #protest #breakingnews #worldnews #fireworks #netherlandsnews #antiasylum #europeanews #police #migrants #refugees #politics #unrest #dutchnews #viralnews #protesters #townhall #migration #newsupdate #europepolitics In this Times Now World News report, we break down
