Lawyers for Federal Labor MP Luke Gosling are calling for assault charges against their client to be dropped claiming there's insufficent evidence to prosecute him. Mr Gosling is facing two counts of assault over an incident involving Northern Territory Administrator David Connolly at a community event in July. The Member for Solomon's matters returned to court just hours after a prosecutor had finally agreed to take on his case. Courtney Barrett Peters has this report for ABC News Northern Territory.
