What really happened aboard Flydubai Flight FZ1073? An Israel-bound flydubai Boeing 737 MAX 8 travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv was forced to make an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after transmitting emergency codes — including the international 7500 hijack/unlawful interference code. The flight was carrying around 180 Israeli passengers when the aircraft reportedly experienced a violent incident involving the pilots. Israeli fighter jets were scrambled as authorities initially feared a possible hijacking. Flight-tracking data also showed the aircraft making a dramatic diversion towards Saudi Arabia after veering through Jordanian airspace. Passenger accounts and reports suggest a physical altercation took place inside the cockpit, with both pilots reportedly injured and hospitalised. All passengers and crew were reported safe. Israeli authorities are continuing to assess the incident and have reportedly not ruled out a terrorism angle. Watch the full video
