In Texas, federal prosecutors are charging a Venezeulan delivery driver, who was shot by an ICE officer earlier this month, with assaulting a federal officer. The criminal complaint includes images which claim to show the side-view mirror of a car driven by Wilber Rafael Garces Perez striking an officer's torso. He has been charged with one count of assaulting, resisting and impeding a federal officer. Body cam footage from the incident shows the 28-year-old being treated after he was shot in the back. Garces Perez was facing a final removal order from the U.S. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison. Watch PBS News for daily, breaking and live news, plus special coverage.
