In the lead up to the midterm elections, Donald Trump has run taxpayer-funded ads glorifying himself on major networks and local TV stations across the country. A new Wall Street Journal investigation reveals where the ads came from in the federal budget and how much taxpayer money has been spent to date. But what can be done to fight it? The advocacy group Public Citizen filed a formal complaint with the Trump-controlled FCC and FTC.
