Flydubai Flight FZ1073, flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv, was forced to make an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after a violent cockpit altercation. The aircraft plunged nearly 14,000 feet in less than 30 seconds before passengers and off-duty pilots helped regain control. The captain, Indian pilot Smit Machchhar, was seriously injured in the incident but managed to open the cockpit door, allowing passengers and crew to intervene. All 174 passengers were safely evacuated after the emergency landing. The exact motive behind the attack remains under investigation.
