Palestinians held a mass funeral in Gaza City on October 1 for more than 100 people, whose remains were recovered from beneath the rubble of a residential building. The site had been struck in an Israeli attack in October 2023, according to Gaza’s civil defence. Palestinian authorities estimate that more than 8,000 people remain buried under the wreckage across the territory. Gaza health officials say at least 1,400 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire, while Israel says four of its soldiers have died. Palestinian authorities put the overall death toll from Israel’s assault since October 2023 at more than 74,000. --- Gaza City | Palestinians | Mass Funeral | Gaza Funeral | Yarmouk | Al Yarmouk | Gaza Rubble | Palestinian Families | Palestinian Victims | Israel Gaza War | Gaza War | Gaza Ceasefire | Gaza Health Ministry | Gaza Civil Defence | Palestinian Death Toll | Middle East | Firstpost #gaza #gazacity #palestinians #palestine #gazafuneral #massfuneral #yarmouk #ga
