President Donald Trump announced that the last American forces are leaving Iraq, saying the US military mission there will end in 2026. Calling the withdrawal a “victory” for the United States, Trump said Operation Inherent Resolve marked the end of a long period of US involvement in Iraq. He also praised Iraq’s new Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi, calling him a friend and saying the country now has a “wonderful new Prime Minister.” --- Iraq | US Withdrawal | US-Led Coalition | Iraqi Prime Minister | Ali Al-Zaidi | Iraq Sovereignty | US Troops | Coalition Forces | ISIS | Operation Inherent Resolve | Erbil Air Base | Iraq Security | US Iraq Relations | Middle East | Trump | Trump News | US Military | US Troops | Firstpost #donaldtrump #trump #iraq #baghdad #usforces #ustroops #operationinherentresolve #alizaidi #iraqprimeminister #usmilitary #iraqwar #erbil #isis #middleeast #trumpnews #iraqnews #firstpost iraq,us withdrawal from iraq,us troops iraq,us led coalition withdrawal, iraq us
