The Cornell Student Assembly held a public hearing on Thursday in the wake of backlash over the university's handling of an alleged 2024 sexual assault case in the Chi Phi fraternity house. One student said she "cried" for Jane Doe in 2024, but is still devastated to this day, and called for the university to take accountability and support students during this time.
