Mark Carney is sending a powerful message to Donald Trump: Canada will build its future on its own terms! In a major announcement from Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has officially designated the proposed West Coast oil pipeline, now called Pacific Link, as a project of national interest. The project is designed to help Canada reduce its dependence on the United States by opening access to Asian energy markets. Carney's announcement comes amid growing tensions with Donald Trump, whose tariffs, trade pressure and controversial rhetoric about Canada's sovereignty have pushed Ottawa to rethink its economic dependence on Washington. #markcarney #donaldtrump #canada #trump #canadapolitics #uscanadarelations #canadaustrade #pacificlink #oilpipeline #canadaoil #energysecurity #canadasovereignty #canadaeconomy #alberta #fortmcmurray #trumpnews #globalpolitics #geopolitics #breakingnews #worldnews #energycrisis #trade war #canadausa #asiamarkets #energyindepende
