U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer says the India-U.S. trade deal is in the 'short strokes', but cautions that an agreement is not yet imminent. Speaking at the G20 Trade Ministerial in Milwaukee, Greer said Washington and New Delhi have identified the remaining sticking points and are continuing technical discussions. Greer also spoke about President Donald Trump’s trade agenda, U.S. negotiations with Canada and China, and Washington’s push to reshape global trade rules. He defended the administration’s tariff policies, citing efforts to reduce the U.S. trade deficit, strengthen domestic manufacturing and secure supply chains. --- Jamieson Greer | US Trade Representative | US Trade Representative | India US Trade Deal | India US Trade Deal Latest | India US Trade Talks | India US Trade Negotiations | India US Trade Agreement | India US Trade Deal 2026 | India America Trade | India US Relations | Donald Trump | Trump Trade Agenda | Trump Tariffs | US Tariffs | India Tariffs |
