Pranavi Urs has scripted history at the Asian Games 2026, becoming the first Indian woman golfer to win an individual gold medal at the continental event. The 23-year-old produced a composed performance under pressure to finish at 15-under 265 and secure the top spot in the women’s individual competition. Her performance also helped India win silver in the women’s team event alongside Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar. The triumph ended India’s 24-year wait for an individual Asian Games golf gold, with Shiv Kapur having last won one for the country in 2002. Pranavi, who has also competed successfully on the IGPL circuit, delivered one of Indian golf’s biggest moments on the Asian Games stage. #PranaviUrs #AsianGames2026 #Golf #TeamIndia #IndianGolf #GoldMedal #AsianGames For more videos subscribe to our channel: https://www.youtube.com/@NDTVProfitIndia Visit NDTV Profit for more news: https://www.ndtvprofit.com/ Don't enter the stock market unaware.
