India’s economy is growing strongly, but the stock market isn’t moving in sync. Nilesh Shah of Kotak AMC and member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council explains why. Shah says markets are looking beyond the latest 7.8% GDP growth number and focusing instead on risks including below-average monsoon rainfall, triple-digit crude oil prices and supply-chain disruptions. His advice to investors: maintain asset allocation, stay neutral on equities and use market corrections to add in a calibrated manner rather than investing everything at once. He describes Indian equities as a “fair value market, not a cheap market”. On UPI MDR, Shah says some charges are inevitable if India wants a sustainable, world-class payments ecosystem. He also expects Q2 growth around 7% and says FY27 could remain in the 7% handle. #NileshShah #IndianMarkets #StockMarket #GDP #IndianEconomy #UPI #MDR #Investing For more videos subscribe to our channel: https://www.youtube.com/@NDTVProfitIn
