IAF Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh has described Pakistan-China cooperation on fifth-generation fighter aircraft as a “cause of concern”, while stressing that possessing advanced platforms alone does not guarantee operational effectiveness. Singh said Pakistan has so far been limited by challenges around integration, underscoring the importance of connecting aircraft with sensors, weapons, command networks and other elements of a modern combat ecosystem.
