Washington is reportedly considering targeted measures against Israel over escalating settler violence in the West Bank, according to reporting by Haaretz. The possible actions could include restrictions involving certain IDF units, limits on the use of U.S.-made weapons in specific areas, and potential blacklisting of Israeli officials accused of facilitating or failing to stop settler attacks. The reported measures have not been formally announced by the U.S. government and remain under consideration. The developments come amid growing international scrutiny of settler violence, settlement expansion and activity in the E1 area near Jerusalem, as well as renewed debate in Washington over U.S. policy toward Israel. With American weapons, Israeli military units and officials potentially affected, any confirmed action could mark a significant development in U.S.-Israel relations and add further pressure over the situation in the West Bank. #USIsrael #Israel #WestBank #SettlerVi
