India has summoned Pakistan’s Chargé d’Affaires in New Delhi and lodged a strong protest over the country’s attempts to facilitate cross-border infiltration. The diplomatic move follows an October 2 incident in Punjab’s Ferozepur sector, where three individuals attempted to infiltrate into India from Pakistan despite multiple warnings. The BSF was compelled to engage the intruders over an imminent security threat. India has also raised concerns over infiltration bids involving armed Pakistan-based drug syndicates. India also exposed Pakistan at the UNGA, saying so-called civilian governments serve the country at the mercy of the army. Watch this video as Firstpost explains the latest India-Pakistan tensions, New Delhi’s strong response to cross-border infiltration and its wider concerns over terrorism and drug smuggling. --- India Pakistan Tensions | India Summons Pakistan Diplomat | Cross Border Infiltration | Ferozepur Infiltration | BSF Pakistan Border | India Pakistan Border | Pa
