Green leader Zack Polanski has been banned from entering Israel after the party passed a motion declaring "Zionism is racism" at its conference in Brighton. Green Party members backed the motion with 1,022 votes in favour and 813 against. In a statement, Israel's foreign ministry said: "Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar has decided this evening to declare Green Party leader Zack Polanski barred from entering Israel". The statement said the motion "constitutes a clear antisemitic text" according to the definition of antisemitism from the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, "as it denies the Jewish people's right to self-determination". Nick Ferrari is joined by Ashok Kumar - Green Party activist and spokesperson for the 'Zionism is Racism' campaign by Greens 4 Palestine, and Rabbi Charley Baginsky - co-leader of the Progressive Judaism movement.
