Another security incident has been reported involving commercial shipping off Yemen as fighting between Yemen’s government forces and the Iran-backed Houthis intensifies. A tanker came under multiple explosions around 60 nautical miles south of Mokha, according to the UK Maritime Trade Operations. The crew was reported safe, with no environmental impact reported, while authorities investigate the cause of the blasts. The incident comes as Yemeni government forces launch a major offensive against Houthi-held territory, with intense fighting reported around the strategic Taiz governorate and coastal areas near the Bab al-Mandab Strait. The escalation is raising fresh concerns over the safety of international commercial shipping through one of the world’s most important maritime chokepoints. #yemen #houthis #redsea #babalmandab #mokha #taiz #yemenwar #houthi #saudiarabia #iran #shipping #tankerattack #ukmto #maritimesecurity #middleeast Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling Engl
