BJP leader Sambit Patra targeted the Punjab government over the Punjab and Haryana High Court’s direction to the CBI to register a case and probe allegations of corruption linked to the Chief Minister’s Office. The court’s October 5 order followed Enforcement Directorate communications alleging irregularities involving transfers, confidential documents and other government-related matters. The AAP government has accused central agencies of politically targeting it.
