Kemi Badenoch has ruled out an electoral pact with Reform UK as the Conservatives meet for their party conference in Birmingham. The two parties continue to compete for voters on the right. That split has prompted debate over whether either party could defeat Labour alone, or whether they might eventually seek an arrangement to avoid a left-wing coalition. No Tory–Reform deal has been agreed. The head of communications at Popular Conservatism argues that a deal will become inevitable. She says both sides should set aside personal rivalries and work together where their policies overlap, particularly on immigration. Benedict Spence speaks with Popular Conservatism’s head of communications, Annunziata Rees-Mogg. Have you got a story?
