Yemen is facing a major escalation as Saudi-backed forces launch an offensive to reclaim Houthi-held territory. Firstpost brings you the latest details as more than 100,000 troops are reportedly mobilised to push the Houthis back on multiple fronts. Fighting intensifies around Taiz, while Houthi advances along Yemen’s Red Sea coast bring the group closer to the strategic Bab el-Mandeb strait. The escalation follows Houthi missile and drone attacks towards Saudi Arabia, including targets linked to Aramco. At least 150,000 people are reportedly displaced. Meanwhile, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan prepare for talks in Riyadh. Josh Barnes will tell you more on Firstpost Live.
