What does it take to make something carefully planned and rehearsed feel completely natural? Director and actor Yorgos Nanouris takes us behind the scenes of theatre to explore the different forms of flow that shape a performance: the long journey toward opening night, our changing perception of time, the rhythm of a scene, and the precise coordination of actors, technicians, sound, light and movement. In life, we may plan, rush, pause or stand still, yet time continues to move. Like a river, life carries us through moments of intensity and calm, beginnings, endings and loss. Since we cannot stop its constant flow, Yorgos suggests that perhaps we can learn to move within it and, whenever possible, enjoy it.
