Schluter Shower Pan Custom Fit for Any Size Tile Shower

One of the biggest reasons I love using a Schluter Shower System is the ease of being able to custom fit a shower pan to any size tile shower 😊 As a contractor, I never have to worry if I ordered the right size system for the shower project I'm remodeling. I know I will be able to custom fit and extend any side of the shower pan to make things work. Especially if my plumbing doesn't align correctly with the shower pan. In this video I have a very uncommon sized shower that is also a little out of square and bigger than the pan I purchased. I could have bought a bigger pan and cut down....but with the ease of simply extending the sides of pan with mud, I see no reason to waste the money. Couple of tips on installing a Schluter Shower Tray and extending the size: 1. Use Schluter All-set thinset for adhering all membranes and pan to a wood or concrete subfloor.
