Russia has struck Kharkiv twice in quick succession using Banderol missiles, killing one person and injuring several others, according to Ukrainian officials. The Banderol is a fast, jet-powered weapon combining characteristics of a missile and a drone. A Ukrainian prosecutor has previously said it can reach speeds of up to 800 kilometres per hour and carry around 300 to 400 kilograms of explosives. The attack comes as Russia expands its use of fast, jet-powered weapons alongside missiles, conventional drones and glide bombs. Moscow has also repeatedly targeted Ukrainian infrastructure, with key bridges across the Dnipro in Kyiv among the targets in recent attacks. Russia says the bridges are used to move Ukrainian troops and military cargo. The attacks have also disrupted transport across the Ukrainian capital. #russia #ukraine #kharkiv #putin #banderol #russiaukrainewar #kyiv #ukrainewar #worldnews Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
