India-Switzerland economic ties are gathering momentum, with the $100 billion investment commitment under the India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) at the centre of the partnership. MEA Secretary (West) Sibi George said there has been “significant progress” towards the investment goal, highlighting the presence of more than 340 Swiss companies in India. He said 110 companies have manufacturing operations, 30 operate R&D centres and 74 use India as an export hub. George said the partnership could bring “huge investment” into India in the coming years and envisages the creation of at least 1 million jobs. He also highlighted Indian investment in Switzerland, estimated at around $9 billion, with more than 150 Indian companies having established subsidiaries there. #India #Switzerland #Investment #TEPA #EFTA #IndianEconomy #Jobs #FDI #SibiGeorge #MEA #NDTVProfit For more videos subscribe to our channel: https://www.youtube.com/@NDTVProfitIndia Visit NDTV Profit for
