The bodies of three Pakistani sailors have arrived in Karachi after they were killed during a Somali pirate hostage crisis that lasted more than five months. The oil tanker was hijacked off Somalia's Puntland coast in April with 17 crew members on board, including 10 Pakistanis. Families of the deceased say authorities refused to negotiate with the pirates despite repeated pleas for help. Pakistan has since announced financial assistance for the bereaved families. #somalia #pirates #pakistannews #hostage #dwnews For more news go to: http://www.dw.com/en/ Follow DW on social media: ►Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dwnews ►TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@dwnews ►Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/deutschewellenews/ ►Twitter: https://twitter.com/dwnews ►Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/user/DWNews/ Für Videos in deutscher Sprache besuchen Sie: https://www.youtube.com/dwdeutsch Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/deutschewelleenglish?sub_confirmation=1
