@mirandalambert joins the Rolling Stone Studio at our New York office to talk about blending #countrymusic and #disco on her new album 'Crisco,' out now. Along with making an album for #country fans, #mirandalambert says her other goal was to create songs that would be right at home at #dragshow — according to the Texas native, that’s the epitome of success. She also lets us into her #songwriting process and how her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, is slowly becoming a trusted collaborator in the writing room. Our conversation also, naturally, turns to the legacy of #dollyparton: Lambert says she wouldn’t be where she is today without the influence of the icon.
