Russia and Ukraine escalate attacks as drones target Moscow and strikes hit Kharkiv

Russia and Ukraine have intensified attacks on each other, with large-scale drone strikes targeting Moscow and Russian attacks hitting several Ukrainian cities. At least two people were killed and seven injured in the Moscow region, according to local authorities, after hundreds of Ukrainian drones were launched overnight. A fuel storage and distribution facility southeast of Moscow was also reportedly hit. In Ukraine, authorities say Russian attacks killed at least six people and injured dozens in Kharkiv. Strikes also targeted Odesa, where two Ukrainian cargo vessels were destroyed, as well as bridges across the Dnipro River. The escalation comes as both sides continue targeting infrastructure ahead of winter, while Ukraine has proposed another round of trilateral talks involving Russia and the United States.
