A U.S. Navy MH-60R Seahawk is feared to have gone down over the Red Sea after reportedly issuing a distress signal near the Saudi coast and disappearing from flight-tracking data. There is no official confirmation of a crash. The incident comes as reports say more than 200 U.S. military personnel and intelligence analysts are working from command centres inside Saudi Arabia, helping analyse and select targets in support of Saudi-backed Yemeni forces. Yemen’s internationally recognised government has launched a major counteroffensive against the Houthis, backed by extensive Saudi air support. Government forces claim gains around Bab al-Mandeb and Mocha, while the Houthis dispute losing the territory. The Houthis have also intensified missile and drone attacks inside Saudi Arabia as the fighting around the strategically important Red Sea corridor escalates. #usnavy #seahawk #redsea #yemen #houthis #saudiarabia #babelmandeb #middleeast #worldnews Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest
