Israel's military has been demolishing a multi-storey residential building in occupied East Jerusalem. The military raided the town of at-Tur with bulldozers and military vehicles surrounding the area ahead of the demolition. Israel says the building was constructed without a permit. The United Nations says, in the past nine months, Israel has displaced more than 740 Palestinians from 365 demolished structures in occupied East Jerusalem. Al Jazeera’s Nida Ibrahim reports from Ramallah, occupied West Bank.
