Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) held constructive discussions with domestic airlines, the Ministry and other stakeholders over shifting T1 operations to Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA). AAHL outlined preparedness for handling up to 5 million international passengers annually at NMIA and highlighted the airport's readiness, passenger amenities, robust airport connectivity, flight catering facilities, hotels, lounges and other supporting services. AAHL will hold a consultation meeting with airlines and the Ministry on October 13, while the final meeting is expected to be held by October 20 to discuss the final transition plan. The Civil Aviation Secretary has asked airlines and the airport operator to submit a firm plan for shifting operations to NMIA. The Ministry of Civil Aviation has proposed delaying the transition by a few weeks, while a decision around UDF remains pending with the Ministry. #NMIA #MumbaiAirport #AdaniAirports #Aviation #NaviMumbaiAirport #AAHL #
