Memorials have been held in Israel to mark three years since the Hamas-led attacks on 7 October 2023. A nationwide minute's silence was observed across Israel at exactly 6:29am, local time, to mark the moment militants launched their assault — killing more than 1,200 people and taking 251 hostage. In Australia, people have also come together at a dawn vigil in Sydney, to mark the third anniversary of the attack.
